SevernNet Buzz is a new service to provide transport to employment areas in the absence of other practical public transport links. It is typically a closed service, only available to the employees of companies who are SevernNetBuzz Partners, those who actively support the SevernNet Buzz service.
You pay SevernNet Buzz for using their transport service. Participating employers financially support SevernNet Buzz also, ensuring you have access to their employment at an affordable price.
You access SevernNet Buzz services by creating an account on the app or website. All services are owned and controlled by Esoterix Systems, a company registered in England and Wales (6380815) ("we", "us", "our", “SevernNet Buzz”).
Your personal information is just that, personal and yours. We treat it with the same care as we treat our own information. However, to tailor and continually improve your experience, we do collect and use some information about you and the journeys you make.
We take all reasonable care in keeping this information secure and preventing unauthorized access or unlawful use of it. All personal information is processed by us in accordance with data protection legislation applicable in the UK and in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It may be that your employer is helping to support SevernNet Buzz to assist your commute to and from their place of work. In this case you agree that the record of your usage of Services, limited to that which can be unequivocally attributed to commuting to and from their place of work, can be shared with your employer. We will provide you with the Services once you register an account with us on our website or app. Unless otherwise agreed, the Services are solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
When creating an Account, you are required to provide certain personal information about yourself and establish a password. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information about yourself. You can link your Account to various webmail, social networking, and other online accounts, from which we'll access and retrieve your account information on your behalf. The driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle when delivering SevernNet Buzz transport services. The driver has the right to remove you from the vehicle if your conduct is in breach of statutory regulations or otherwise compromising the safety or well-being of the driver and/or any other passengers.
We have the right to remove your access to the Services if you are discourteous towards drivers or other passengers, you avoid paying for the Services, you misuse or abuse the operation of the Services, you fail to comply with these Terms, or for any other reason.
We may sub-contract the delivery of SevernNet Buzz transport services to vehicle operators. Sub-contracted operators (“Transportation Partners”), their drivers and their vehicles are licensed and insured to deliver the Services, and the operation of the Services is registered as required by law with the appropriate regulatory authority.
We shall do everything we can reasonably do to provide the Services as advertised. However, we do not guarantee that the Services will always be available or uninterrupted, we may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or part of our Services without notice, and we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the information on the Services is accurate, complete or up-to-date.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable to you in respect of any acts or omissions of our employees, agents or sub-contractors, whether such liability arises in contract (by way of indemnity or otherwise), tort (including negligence), misrepresentation, breach of statutory duty, restitution or otherwise, provided that nothing in these Terms and Conditions will limit or exclude our liability to you for personal injury or death caused directly by our negligence.
